Ardmore Juvenile GAA Weekly Round-Up

U11 hurling

We played our final U11 hurling blitz on Monday evening last in Abbeyside. We had 3 short games, we played 2 Abbeyside teams and an Gaeltacht. There was some lovely hurling played and we came out on top in all 3 games.

 U16 Hurling

Our Under-16s wrapped up the league stage of the championship this evening with a game against Ballyduff Lower in Ardmore. The lads put in another strong performance, coming out on top by 6-12 to 3-11. That result means we finish the group with a maximum 12 points from 6 games and now face our near neighbours Clashmore in next week’s semifinal.

This evening’s panel was: Cathal, Jack, Paudie, Aaron, Charlie, Conor, Seán Flavin, Jimmy, Eoin, Seán McSweeny, Daithí, Eoghan, Padraig, Logan, James, Harry, and Thomas.

New Scoreboard

The Sports Capital Grant has been a tremendous support to our club in recent years, helping us complete a number of important projects. This year, we were delighted to install a brand-new scoreboard, which is now up and running and already proving to be a fantastic addition to the club. It has been used in several games recently and has made a real difference on match days.

A huge thanks goes to everyone involved for their hard work and commitment in getting this project over the line. It’s another great step forward for the club and something we can all be proud of.
