Club Notes 29.06.26
U14 football
We played Ballyduff/Portlaw in under 14 football on Tuesday evening last in Ardmore. It was a competitive first half but we got on top in the second half and recorded a great win. This group of boys are training hard at present and getting the rewards when they play their games
U14 hurling
On Thursday evening we travelled to Abbeyside to play them in the U14 league. It was a very warm evening and we were glad to have 5 subs that we could use as we needed to give players a break. Overall it was a very good performance and we won well in the end . Up next is an under 14 hurling game against Dungarvan on Thursday evening in Dungarvan at 6.30
U12 hurling
We travelled to Ballygunner on Sunday morning to play U12 hurling league . We had 19 players togged out and everyone got lots of playing time. It was close enough until halftime but with the Sid of the breeze and some lovely hurling we pulled away and in the end we won well.
U8 All County Blitz
We had a very enjoyable Under 8 blitz hosted by Killrossanty on Saturday morning. The weather went against us all, but our Boys and Girl battled bravely and performed excellently as we have become accustomed to from this group.
Camogie Notes
Under 12
Our U12 team played away to Modeligo last Thursday in what can only be described as blistering heat. This didn’t deter our girls however and they fought to the bitter end coming out with a landslide victory at the final whistle. We will now look forward to a semi final in the coming weeks.
Under 14
Our U14’s also had a fantastic win in the sweltering heat on Wednesday evening. They beat a strong Tramore side 9-3 to 4-2 after giving everything they had for the 50 minutes. They will now progress to a semi final. Well done to both teams.
Déise Draw 2026
We net our quota, and indeed surpassed last years sales. Thanks to everyone who supported, it gives vital funding to keep the club going.

New Adventure Trail at St Declan’s GAA Club
Exciting news this week with the installation of our new adventure playground. Its open to the public and a wonderful addition to our Club. Its great for balance and Co ordination and indeed is already being well used by the children and the odd adult! Thanks to the very generous support from a local resident who has made this project achievable.
The Sideline is Nearly Here
There is great excitement around St. Declan's GAA Club as we look forward to welcoming The Sideline to our club grounds over the next week or two.
The Sideline has been developed to provide a premium match-day and community experience for everyone visiting Ardmore GAA. Located beside our clubhouse and new playground, it will serve Badger & Dodo speciality coffee, freshly prepared pizzas, treats and refreshments in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
More than just a coffee and pizza trailer, The Sideline is another investment in our club and community. It has been designed to create a welcoming space where players, supporters, families, walkers and visitors can meet, relax and enjoy quality food and drink while supporting the continued development of St. Declan's GAA Club.
Sustainability has also been a key focus throughout the project. We are committed to reducing waste wherever possible by encouraging the use of reusable cups and serving options, while sourcing quality ingredients and supporting Irish and local suppliers whenever we can.
The Sideline will be open during club matches and events, with additional opening times to be announced over the coming weeks. We look forward to welcoming everyone through the hatch for a great coffee, fresh pizza and a warm Ardmore welcome.
We can't wait to officially open and share this exciting new addition with our members, supporters and the wider community. Keep an eye on our social media pages for opening dates and more updates over the coming weeks.
The Sideline – Great Coffee. Fresh Pizza. Community.
