GAA

U10s
Our U10’s travelled to Tallow on Saturday where they faced Emly (Tipperary), Mungret (Limerick) and Youghal. There was great satisfaction in seeing this team continue to come together. The players worked hard for one another throughout, with the final game especially showing the fantastic spirit and togetherness now developing within this group.

U12 Hurling
Our U12 hurlers played St Oliver’s in Ardmore last Tuesday evening in the U12 Hurling League. The team produced a brilliant performance and came out well on top. Best of luck to the players and management as they travel to Roanmore on Tuesday evening for the next round of the league.

U14 Hurling
Our U14 hurlers played their opening League Championship game against Brickey Rangers on Sunday evening in very warm conditions in Bushy Park. Missing a couple of older players on the night, the rest of the panel stepped up with a huge effort and came away with a well-earned win in a high-scoring encounter. Best of luck in the next round against Clashmore on Wednesday evening in Clashmore.

Intermediate Football League Final
Best of luck to our Intermediate footballers who take on Abbeyside/Ballinacourty in the Division 3 Adult Football League Final this weekend. Fixture details are to be confirmed. All support for upcoming fixtures is greatly appreciated. 💙🤍

Nursery
Nursery training continues to go from strength to strength every Sunday morning at 10:30am on the Astro Turf pitch. Catering for children aged 4–6 years, we now have over 20 young players taking part each week under the excellent guidance of Austin Flavin and a fantastic group of helpers.

Club Meitheal
Our Club Meitheal takes place on May 30th and we are hoping for a big turnout, as many hands make light work. Exciting plans are underway for a kitchen revamp and a full clubhouse paint refresh in the coming weeks, and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Féile Dhéagláin
St Declan’s GAA Club is delighted to announce our first annual Féile Dhéagláin, taking place at the club grounds on Saturday, July 11th.

The event will be headlined by The Kilkennys with support from Out The Gap, Simon Says and Opposite Cheeks.

There will be a full programme of family entertainment on the day including food stalls, a full bar and performances from the Wobbly Circus. It promises to be a fantastic occasion for both the club and the wider community.

Tickets are available now at www.ardmoregaa.ie and are selling fast, so be sure to get yours early.
