St Declan’s GAA Club Ardmore – AGM Update

Following last night’s Club AGM, we would like to share some important updates and, most importantly, extend our sincere thanks to those who have given so much of their time and effort to the club.

Both Chairman Nicky Keating and Treasurer Nora Fitzgerald informed the club that they would be stepping down and not seeking re-election. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Nicky and Nora for their incredible 7-year stint in these roles, and for their many years of dedication to St Declan’s both before and during that time. The commitment, hard work and countless hours they gave to the club have left us in a very strong and positive position. Thankfully, they won’t be disappearing anytime soon and will continue to be around to guide and support the new team.

The club is pleased to confirm the following officers were voted in and agreed:

Chairman: Seamus Prendergast

Vice Chair: Mike Murray

Secretary: Martin Keevers (continuing in role)

Treasurer: Damien Lenihan

We wish Seamus, Mike, Martin and Damien every success in their new roles and look forward to working together in the years ahead.

We would also like to thank Jay Prendergast for his very distinguished service as our County Board Delegate, as he now passes the baton to Nicky Keating.

With the reins being handed over in such a positive position, it’s very much onwards and upwards for St Declan’s GAA Club Ardmore

We would also like to note our adult managers will be as per last year with Mike Murray looking after hurling, Adrian O’Donnell football and Cathal Hennessy taking the reigns at both codes for the Under 20’s.
