St Declans GAA Poc Fada

What an incredible day filled with fun, laughter and true community spirit. From start to finish, the support shown was amazing, and we are sincerely grateful to everyone who took part, donated, helped out, or cheered us on along the way.

We were blessed with fantastic weather, a stunning scenic village backdrop, and a superb turnout on the day. It was especially heartening to see such a diverse representation involved — boys and girls, men and women, past, present and future club stars — with some Waterford stalwarts also on show in Séamus and Declan Prendergast and Clinton Hennessy.

Congratulations to all our winners on the day — thoroughly well deserved. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised approximately €3,500 for the club, which is truly phenomenal. This support means everything and will help keep the club thriving.

Days like this remind us how lucky we are to live here and to be part of such a special community. A great occasion all round — and one we’ll definitely be repeating again next Christmas.

We look forward to 2026 onwards and upwards for the Village and the Club.
