We returned to training after a summer on the road. It was nice to get back working on some skills and improving some of our game play after the last 8 weeks playing matches, it gave the coaches and players a good idea on some work-ons for the group.
Under 11 hurling

Let’s Rally Behind Our Club – We Need You!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Win a House Draw – your generosity keeps our club alive. Congratulations as well to John Prendergast, who walked away with €250 in the Déise Draw – well deserved, John!
But friends, we need to talk.
At our recent club meeting, just six people attended. That’s six out of an entire community. This isn’t sustainable. A rural club like ours thrives on the strength of its volunteers and members – without you, we simply can’t function. It’s not fair – or possible – for the same few to carry the load time and again.
If you care about keeping our club alive and thriving for the next generation, now is the time to step up. Your time, your energy, your ideas – they matter.
We urge you: join us at the next meeting. Even showing up makes a difference. Watch our social media for dates – and come along if you can.
We also have a Bake Sale coming up on August 17th, and we need all hands on deck. Whether you’re a budding baker or a master of the sponge cake, we welcome your cakes, buns, breads, and bakes with open arms. And if you can help out on the day, even better – we’d love to have you. There will be raffle tickets available from club members during the week , with some nice prizes on the day.
This is your club. Let’s build it together.
