Ardmore Juvenile GAA Weekly Round-Up
U16 Hurling Championship Kick-Off – Ardmore 7-12, Clashmore 1-10
Our U16 hurlers got their championship campaign off to a flying start on Wednesday night with a superb away win over Clashmore. From the throw-in, Ardmore meant business—hitting the ground running and racing into a commanding 4-05 by the 15-minute mark! The lads were electric in the first half, racking up a mighty 7-08 before the break, thanks to some outstanding team play and sharp finishing.
Clashmore came out stronger in the second half and edged the scoring 1-04 to 0-04, but the damage was already done, and our boys secured a well-deserved victory. Great energy, great teamwork, and a promising start to the season!
Next up, it’s St Mary’s in Kill on Wednesday—let’s keep the momentum going!

U7 Blitz Action in Clashmore
Our Under-7 footballers returned to action in style at their first blitz of the season on a lovely evening in Clashmore. After a short break from football due to hurling, the kids showed no signs of rust, putting in spirited performances across four great games—twice against Clashmore, and once each against Brickeys and An Gaeltacht. Well done to all involved!
U8 Debut in Fenor
Saturday morning saw our Under-8s in action for the first time this year in Fenor. With most of the team made up of our enthusiastic U7s, the boys showed great determination in games against Tramore, The Nire, and St. Oliver’s. A great learning experience and an exciting glimpse at the talent coming through the ranks! We're back in action this Wednesday for our home football fixture in Ardmore at 6:30 PM—come along and support the future stars!

U8 & U10 Blitz in Cappoquin
What a day for camogie! Our U8 and U10 teams travelled to Cappoquin last Saturday for their second blitz of the year—and they didn’t disappoint. Under glorious sunshine, the girls put on a great show against Abbeyside, Cappoquin, and Ballyduff Upper. It was fantastic to see them showcasing their skills, teamwork, and love for the game. A big thank you to Cappoquin Camogie Club for hosting such a fun and well-organized event!
U10 Camogie
U16 Camogie Victory in Modeligo
Our Under-16 camogie squad brought the heat last Tuesday with a brilliant performance against a strong Modeligo side. A fast start gave Ardmore the edge, and the girls never looked back, finishing the game strong with a 6-11 to 3-7 win. A real team effort and a result to be proud of—well done girls!
Great to see such enthusiasm and teamwork across all age groups. Keep up the great work, and here's to another exciting week of GAA action in Ardmore!
