Ardmore 4-18 Affane/Cappoquin/Tourin 2-08
Good win: 4-18 to 2-8 gets our championship campaign back on track.
We led 1-12 to 0-6 at half time after a strong first-half showing. Cappoquin fought back well in the third quarter, cutting the margin to just three points going into the final 15 minutes. But goals proved decisive—we hit three in the closing stages to open up a big gap and see it out comfortably.
Great performances all over the field, especially from the half forward line who contributed 2-5 from play. Other standouts were Eoin O’Shea, Luke Hennessy on his adult championship debut, and James Flavin making a welcome return after missing all of last year’s championship.
Next up: Abbeyside in Ring on Friday evening.

U8 Blitz Action
A lovely Sunny evening in Stradbally. Our boys and girls played three great games after a busy week at Cúl Camps also. We are on our travels again this Wednesday night in Kilrossanty for an U8 football Blitz.
Dungarvan U14 Division 3 Football County Final
A change of venue to Colligan GAA saw the Dungarvan U14 team take on St Mary’s in the division 3 football county final. An early goal for St Mary’s didn’t stop Dungarvan and once they got on top they stayed there. The Ardmore lads lined out; Colin as full back and joint captain, Tom as centre back, Seán in midfield, Daithí in centre forward and Aron in full forward.
Final score Dungarvan 4-10, St Mary’s 2-4
Camogie Corner
U12 County Final
Great excitement in our U12 camp this week as we prepare for our county final this Saturday 19th of July. We will take on Tramore B in the U12 C shield final in Cappoquin at 11am. Please come out and support our girls on their big day.
U14
Our U14 team also have a big game coming up this Tuesday when they take on Modeligo in the semi final of the U14 league in Modeligo at 6.30pm.
U8 and 10
We will host our Blitz this Saturday 19th and are looking forward to welcoming Tallow, Cappoquin and Ballyduff Lower for 3 very competitive games.
