Juvenile GAA Club Match Report
Under 11
We played Ballyduff upper on Monday evening in Ballyduff in under 11 hurling go games . We had a really entertaining game and both teams displayed some lovely skills. We had just 9 players and everyone contributed magnificently
Under 12
We played Portlaw on Wednesday evening last in Ardmore in the under 12 hurling league. It was a competitive game and our lads came out on top in the end. On this Wednesday evening we play Brickies in Bushy park in the under 12 hurling league.
U9/U10 Report
Our U9 hurlers took part in the excellently run All County blitz held in Kilrossanty GAA grounds in Lemybrien on Saturday. We had 12 available for selection for the 3x 15 minute matches which we had against Abbeyside, Ballyduff Upper and the Nire/Fourmilewater. The boys gave excellent performances in all three matches, which were very competitive and very entertaining viewing for the assembled spectators. They continue their blitz’s this coming week with a trip to Lismore for an U10 hurling blitz.
U7/U8 Report
Our under 7’s had their first hurling blitz outing of the year on a damp evening in Tournenna, after a slight mishap with the directions to the pitch, the action got underway with our boy’s and girl fast out of the blocks considering all the mams and dads got lost. A great performance on the night from all involved and potential stars of the future on show. We played three games two aghainst fourmilewater and one against St Olivers. We are in action again this Wednesday when we head for Lismore for 6:30 with this great group of under 7’s.
