U14 Football
Our U14 footballers welcomed St Oliver’s to Ardmore on Monday evening for their latest Championship fixture.
It was a closely contested game for much of the opening half, but a strong finish before the break saw our lads outscore St Oliver’s by 1-2 to no score in the final five minutes, giving us valuable momentum going into half-time.
The boys continued to dominate after the restart, playing some excellent attacking football and working tirelessly all over the field. Their efforts were rewarded with a deserved six-point victory, a result that sees them finish top of the table and secure a place in the County Semi-Final.
Congratulations to all the players and management, and best of luck in the semi-final in the coming weeks.
U14 Hurling
Best of luck to our U14 hurlers who host Killrossanty in the U14 Hurling Championship this Thursday evening in Ardmore. Throw-in is at 6.30pm and all support would be greatly appreciated.
U12 Football
What a fantastic evening for our U12 footballers, who produced a superb performance to defeat Ballyduff Lower in the County Semi-Final in Ardmore on Thursday.
The boys played with great confidence, determination and teamwork throughout, eventually running out deserving winners on a scoreline of 6-11 to 3-01. Every player played their part in a tremendous team display that earned a place in the County Final.
Congratulations to all the players, coaches and supporters on a wonderful achievement. We now look forward to the County Final against St Oliver’s, which takes place on Thursday, 13th August, in Fraher Field. We wish the team the very best as they prepare for the final.
